Cosmetics bag/fanny for Quynh’s friend, she’s a masseuse.

vintage cotton, invisible zipper, pick pocket

This was made for baby Seilah. We had our small group studies on creation at her house and we made this for her as a thank you gift. They crocheted it together and I made the flower.

She looks much cuter in it.

what fabric is the cosmetics bag made of? it looks so soft. also, i love the print you chose… it’s so rad that it has a pick pocket too!! your pick pockets come to my rescue so often.

the bag is really nice. i love the edge element (there must be a word for it, but i don’t know what it is).

i love that the headband was a team effort. so fun!

it’s a cotton flannel fabric i got at a thrift store 4 years ago. i wish i could use it for more things but i’m slowly running out. i’m glad the pick pockets are actually useful!

The edge element is called piping. it was very popular in the 40s, 50s and 60s. It’s one of my favorite things to work with.

The headband was suppose to be a baby blanket, but we couldn’t crochet fast enough…heh.

Thanks d! you’re so on top of it!

    ah, piping… i see.

yes, i really like the piping on the cosmetics bag.

and that’s really funny that it was supposed to be a baby blanket, but came out a headband. so rad.
